So we kicked Frederick's ass along with a bunch of security goons. They were packing heat, which we then re-appropriated. Upgrade your weapon.

Check me out posting on a non-Wednesday!

Clint will be looking into trading in some of his hardware for a long-range solution. Using attachments and modifications, I think I will be able to have a decent shot from the extreme range band. I have not played a mechanics system that effectively represents someone fighting from such a long distance, and am excited to see how EotE fares.

I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out! On a unrelated note, I got to thinking that the ship combat mechanics could very easily be reskinned for giant mech combat. I have no idea if we'll eventually go that direction, but knowing that it would be doable makes me all fuzzy inside.

Okay so now that Clint is equipped for some long range head boomage, do we want to make use of the extreme range band at Synthodyne? Clint's not-too-shabby Skullduggery and Stealth skills means a nearby rooftop, crane, or window cleaning lift might be viable spots for him to set up. Before the shooting even stars, someone from the outside looking in could provide some handy intel.

I would love to see some sniping happen. Best case scenario would be if the Synthodyne building was a single high rise building with an open floor plan, floor to ceiling windows, and surrounded on all sides by other high rise buildings that are currently under renovation. Worst case scenario, it's a subterranean complex like the Hive from Resident Evil.

A real life example is the biotechnology company Amgen, worth about 85 billion. They have lots of offices all around the world. Here is a Google map of their SF offices. http://goo.gl/maps/CLKGX
Half a dozen two story buildings in an industrial area near the waterfront.

Maybe 25 buildings on a campus like area. Other industrial buildings to the west, residential housing to the north, south and east.

Also just to be perfectly clear to the NSA, I'm suggesting ideas for a setting in a tabletop RPG, not planning a shooting spree.

Things I would like to see more of in our game:

GM: "The floor you're on only has a few windows"
You: "I'd like to use a Destiny point to change that to floor-to-ceiling windows"

Or how about even

GM: "The server room is in an underground basement"
Player: "Destiny point to make it on the top floor?"
GM: "Sure, but it'll cost you all your destiny points."


These things are hard to think of in the moment, but try to keep them in mind - I love the idea of the destiny points changing circumstances to your favor
