Let me tell you all a story of the most awesome Archer in the land~!

"Come Now All Ye Children,
Draw Close To mine Fire,
And Let Me Tell You A Story,
Of A Man Called Hugh Weaver!"

"Born From Commoners,
To A Simple Life,
He Never Wanted,
More Than He Needed,
But Fates Denied Him,
This Life He Lead."

"He Was Once Weak Like Us,
So Frail And Powerless,
And Early In Life,
Learned To hunt And Track."

"But Then Came The Day,
That Guards Took Him Away,
And Caged Him In Their City,
Of Stone And Wood,
Bound There By Their Magics,
And Chains,
And Guards."

"Their For Years He Was There,
For Crimes Ancient And Old,
Both True and false,
Alone And Cold,
Never A Soul Could He Trust."

"He Fought His Way To Safety,
Joined A Gang For Protection,
And Branded His Body,
With Their Symbols And Signs."

"And Then Came The Day,
He Was Given A Choice,
To Do One Favor For A Man,
And Be Released From Bondage."

"He Took The Deal,
Not Knowing What He Would Have To Do,
The Lives He Would Have To Take,
Their Blood Staining His Hands,
Their Faces In His Dreams,
Their Screams In His Mind."

"After The Deed Had Been Fulfilled,
His Freedom Won,
Though His Mind Troubled,
He Traveled The Land,
And Stopped At A Tavern,
A Place Cool And Damp."

"He Met People Their,
And Decided To Travel With Them,
To Guard Their Backs,
And Lead Them With His Sight."

"In Time His Group Grew And Changed,
Their Fights Became Harder,
But Their Rewards Were Great."
Alas They Felt,
And Found,
And Saw,
All Was Not Right."

"Evil Had Spread,
And Had Grown Strong,
It's Shadow Spread Long
And Covered The Land
In it's plight and Death."

(more on this later, this is how I understand Hugh's life in the beginning years.)

Come all ye Children, Gather again. I continue the story of Hugh Weaver The Far Seer!

Now not much is know about the beginning of Sir Weaver's adventures but what I know goes like this...

"Sir Hugh Strong His Bow,
Ready For A Fight,
Prepared To Face,
All Of Evil's Might!"

"He Traveled Onward,
With His Group Of Friends,
Fighting Onwards Again!"

"With Him was A Dwarf and Nome,
Two more Of Which Was A Mage And A Bounty Hunter,
What Strange company He Kept Even Back Then!"

"They Battled Evil Into The Night,
And Killed Cultist in their Sleep,
They Burned Their Body's,
And Killed Their Sheep~!"

"Sir Hugh Looked On,
Never Flinching,
Never Wavering,
Their Goal In Sight!"

"They Continued On,
And Captured More Cultists,
Sir Hugh Tortured Them All,
To Learn Their Evil Plans!"

"Their Minds Broken,
Hugh Killed Them All,
And With His Knife,
Skinned Them When He Was Done!"

"With There Plans Uncovered,
They Assaulted Thine Temple,
Of Great Elemental Evil,
Watched Over By A God,
Of Chain And Elder Eye!"

"Lo Hugh's Strength Helped Break It's Back,
His Arrows Like Hail,
FINDING THEIR NECKS!"

"It's Giants Toppled,
It's Forces Felled,
It's Champion Broken,
It's God Fled,
The Archer Victorious!,
Praised And Awed!,
A Hero Risen!
Above Them All!"

"The Hero's Rejoiced!,
And Went Their Ways,
For A Year And A Day!"

"Sir Hugh Traveled,
And Killed An Elf,
In Defense He Yelled!,
But They Did Not Care!"

"They Forced Him Into Their Army,
To Help Their Forest,
And Protect Their God!"

"They Battled An Army!,
Of Awesome Size!,
It Sought To Corrupt!,
The God's New Life!"

"But Lo They Were Broken!,
Fled Before His Might!,
The God Had Risen!,
A Great Stag Of Might!"

"Hugh Survived The Battled,
And Learned Some Things,
He Kept Traveling On,
Until A Letter Arrived,
From Arath The Mage!"

(Hope That's not too inaccurate, I'll post more later if ya guys want. :D)

Thank you Lincoln,
You Rascally Devil,
This Poem Of Mine,
Comes From The Heart,

I Know It Could Be Better,
I Actually Feel It's Quite Bad,
I'd Like It To Rhyme Too,
But That I Cannot Have,
For I Am Not A Word Smith,
Nor A Famous Writer,
So For Me,
This Will Do.

Agreed on the wicked poetry, Thor. I hope to see it recur in a session a la "The Hero of Canton" from Firefly. :)

Also, thank you, Cailin, for posting the latest podcasts! I just listened to Episode 125 last night (spoiler alert?) and found myself shouting at the group, "Wouldn't converting the hive mean increased stability for the City," "At least get her to teach you how to 'awaken' illithids before you do anything rash," etc. But that I was futilely yelling at you all from across the Atlantic is a testament to how compelling the story is, and again, I'm so pleased to have found TK. Great stuff, folks.
