That really was bad ass... I remember thinking to myself that Dan must have thought of that line before hand and was just waiting for the perfect moment to unleash it on the group :D

I've been re-listening to some of the older episodes. Those spent in the snowflake mountains are some of my favourite (the flashbacks to the characters' past, the rampede, the "Beholder in the Poke-Ball"-moment) and I especially love the exchange after the fight with the ice troll:
Arora: Arora is investigating the troll body.
DM: The troll body smells absolutely horrid.
Arora: She stuffs snow up her nose.
DM: The troll body doesn't smell like anything ... but the whole world smells really cold.

DM: It looks like you just basically walked in on some troll's home and killed him.
Arora: No, he walked out and attacked us - everyone, that's the story. He came to _us_ and attacked _us_, riiiight guys?
Deomin: Next time you think of living in complete seclusion, know that some people are gonna show up and fuck with you. You can't get secluded enough to avoid us. He's like "I'm just going to go into the middle of nowhere, just hang out and not have any problems."
Brandis: Noone's up here, this guy is like: "maybe I'll be safe in the depths of the northern hell."
Deomin: "- and have peace to pursue my art and write poetry."

Co-DM: I like the idea that he's really excited and goes "Maul-Five!", that's how trolls greet each other.
DM: Yeah, they hit mauls against each other. He swung down and was expecting you to meet him and you didn't and hit him instead, and he's like "Oh no!"
Deomin: "Let's try again ... stop cutting me, that's not part of the game!"
Brandis: "Just whatever you do, don't burn me when I go unconscious!"

Arora: Maybe we are the evil ones.
Deomin: We're definitely not the evil ones, fucking trolls.
Brandis: I hate people who live alone!

I agree. I queue up "Land Ho!" when I've had a bad day, because the first half is really calming and the second half has some excellent silly moments.

I was reading over the quotes and trying to nail down the most popular one. I think that everyone would agree that it is, without a doubt, "BRANDIS PARRIES THE WORLD!"

Actually, I just re-listened to the episode... I don't think Dan ever actually says it. Not just Brandis, but Dan himself has made it into legend, folks. His words have become a "big fish" story!

If I recall correctly, I thought "Brandis parries the world" came from the chatroom.

Pretty much. He skirts around the edges of actually saying it, but never gives out the whole "BRANDIS PARRIES THE WORLD" like we joke about so often. I think you are right and that it was chat that freaked out when he did it and (more or less) coined the phrase and its intensity

This was after the time in Skyclave where the group invested in a potions guy by buying him lamps to signify that his shop was worth a crap. Wrenn yells at him and later apologizes. The shopkeeper is also morbidly obese.

Wrenn - Hey, I'm sorry for being so short with you.

Lincoln - Oh fuck.

Shopkeeper - Well I'm sorry for being so fat with you!

Then everyone laughed. Including me.

Occasionally, when things aren't going my way and the universe needs to know, I shake my fist at the ceiling and shout "SZASS TAAAAAAAAM!" And somehow it makes things a little better.

(I'm hoping he'll be making a return appearance!)

Me too, Dan/Brandis could kill him when they get back to the Light world, and then Hastin will be the King of the Undead.

After encountering the hell-wasps for the first time, Hugh tries to figure out more:

DM: From an anatomy point of view, they appear very similar. But Hugh also knows that devils differ from natural beings in many ways, for they are immortals, as all devils are.
Hugh: So that means they can sting you multiple times.
DM: .... I hate you guys so much!

After Stellion and Leon KO the second postal worker in The Knights of Thunderstrike session:

Cailin: He hides the bodies...in a cupboard. It's too small for them. He has to close the door a few times."

I'm imagining him smashing the bodies into the cupboard like one would stuff down the contents of an overstuffed suitcase.

It's not a line per se, but the threat of a "fatal ass-kicking" is daunting indeed. *adds to pocket list of insults*

I feel the need to mention that no less that six of my friends, none of whom listen to the podcast and two who don't even roleplay, have all adopted yelling "I'm Brandis!" before doing anything anything brash, stupid, or unexpected.

The legend is spreading.

Upon returning from the Marc Maddok past, Wrenn flipping out on Klethen... "Where have you been?"... "Assisting HOW??", with Deomin laughing in the background... pure genius.

I am listening to the Snowflake Mountain episode while cleaning the classroom. Everyone, while camping, is suddenly experiencing a Brandis flashback.

First, someone asks how young Brandis looks. Lincoln jokes, "Brandis is eternal." SPOILER ALERTS, Lincoln!

Second, Dan asks who is playing the Princess in the flashback. Eric volunteers. In a deep voice: "Why Brandis, you do flatter me."

Fantastic!

Searching Brandis's room at the keep in the past the group finds a collection of arrows that Brandis has been hit with, some of them multiple times.

Cailin says "shoot me once..."

Too funny!

Not exact lines, but, I have to say that some of the flesh references in episode 133 and 134 took my mind too – colorful--places.

Okay, one of my favorite exchanges has to be:
Lincoln: how did you do that?
Dan: I pressed alt tab.
It kind of conjured this image of Brandis with a keyboard pushing alt tab and all of a sudden getting buffed back up.

Oh, yeah, and:
Dan: he's just an epic level 8-year-old that just got an epic level BB gun.
Perhaps a bit paraphrase, but – classic!

From Episode 45: The Dark Way Forward, after a long and heated debate over Brandis lying to everyone over Szass Tam Wren came out with one of my favorite lines in the entire series.
Wren: Wait a second you knew we were going to die and this wasn't going to work and we were going to die anyways, and you spent all day digging a hole?
Deomin: It was a good hole!
Brandis:Good point
Wren: Thats one of the best game faces ive ever seen!

Classic Wren.

That and any Brandis Flyvern interaction hilarious stuff!
